The parent should demonstrate how to count on fingers, or provide counters if necessary. Show examples of how to find the unknown addend. If counting up to 10 with unknown addends becomes too easy, you can move on to the next level – subtraction within ten, counting up to 20, or addition with ten and multiple addends.
For whom are these tasks suitable?
