So children by doing these exercises also learning concept of subtraction. <br>To find the missing addend have to start to figure out how to do that, and that is introduction of subtraction.<br><br>Parents should show how to find the missing addend, by help of fingers or counting sticks.<br><br>Matches can be used as a counting sticks  with flammable head cut off.
