Whats in these printable worksheets for kids?

In the ten task sheets, there are eight lines with number sequences that have some numbers missing. The child must fill in the missing numbers and indicate what type of sequence it is. Increasing? Decreasing? Or perhaps cyclical?
To make it easier for parents and teachers to compare the child’s answers with the correct ones, the correct answers are given at the end of the exercise sheets.
Sometimes there may be multiple correct answers for the number sequences.
Therefore, if the given sequence doesn’t match the one in the answer sheet, pay attention to the child’s response — their solution might also be a correct continuation of the sequence.

Kāpēc lasīt grāmatas?

Ikdienā mēs lietojam salīdzinoši ierobežotu vārdu krājumu. Vienā ģimenē ir vieni izteicieni, otrā ģimenē ir citi izteicieni, bet ikdiena neprasa ļoti plašu vārdu krājumu.
Grāmatu lasīšana ir veids kā paplašināt savu un bērnu vārdu krājumu, dažādot to. Pats bērnībā nelasīju grāmatas un arī šobrīd pašam grāmatu lasīšana nav top 10, bet toties klausos audio grāmatas, kad braucu ar mašīnu, vai kad taisu ēst. Un vakaros es rādu priekšā piemēru un palasu bērniem kādu grāmatu priekšā.
Reizēm darām tā, ka katrs no bērniem izlasa pa teikumam un tad es turpinu līdz nodaļas beigām.
Ja tekstā parādās kāds nedzirdēts vārds vai izteiciens bērni paši pajautā paskaidrot ko tas nozīmē un kā to var pielietot.

Stāsts iz dzīves – lasot Vinija Pūka piedzīvojumus, tekstā bija izteiciens “lauzīt galvu”. Šis izteiciens jau nākošajā dienā tika pielietots sarunā.

Kur iegūt grāmatas?

Ja pašu bibliotēkā grāmatu nav, vai bērna vecumam atbilstošu grāmatu nav, tad labākais veids ir doties uz publisko, vietējo bibliotēku un kopā ar bērnu izvēlēties lasāmvielu.

Reizēm grāmatu, kur vēlaties lasīt priekšā saviem bērniem nav pieejamas bibliotēkā. Tā, piemēram, bija mūsu gadījumā gan ar “Čitas burtnīcu”, gan ar “Otrklasnieka un otrgadnieka Jāņa Smaidiņa grūtā un nepatikšanu pārpilnā dzīve”.
Tāpēc mēs talkā likām pasaules plašo tīmekli un abas grāmatas atradām vietnē mybook.lv.

Pie tam, bibliotēkās, kā nu kurā, bet ir iespējams arī aizņemties DVD filmas un multfilmas Latviešu valodā. To mēs arī izmantojam, šķiet gan, esam praktiski izsmēluši šo resursu.

Nolēmām paurķēties internetā, lai noskaidrotu vai nav pieejamas kādas e-grāmatas.
Kas meklē, tas atrod. Atradām šo lielisko e-grāmatu resursu, kur ir ieskenētas un pieejamas grāmatas Latviešu valodā bez maksas.

Who are these printable educational materials intended for?

The child needs to fill in the missing letters. As an additional task, they can be asked to drag and drop all the letters. This way, the child learns the alphabet, practices drawing, and writing printed letters.

For instance, at home, we give the older child the task of finding the letters, and then the younger one redraws them, training their hand with letter and line drawing. Two tasks with one worksheet. 😉

What type of tasks are in worksheets?

Printable worksheets for kids is consisting of 10 pages, each of them has 11 examples. Each and every example is accommodated with icon and name of that element, that can be seen in illustration. An each word is missing some letter.
As additional task you can give as a task to overwrite all letters, so kid would train line/letter drawing. This way kids are learning reading, writing and also drawing.

For example, at our home we are giving to fill the missing letters to older of child. And after that will give to the youngest kid to redraw the letters.

Who should do these exercises?

Worksheets for children with lost letters are for preschool kids – six, five or even four years old children, but that really depends on each kid individually.
The tasks should not be to hard and neither to easy, parents should monitor if kids understands whats needs to be done. Also encourage children to ask question if some of the illustrations are not clear, or maybe the word is not known.

When you see that children does not have any difficulties to do the worksheets, then have to search for next challenge, but from time to time should repeat this tasks.
